The egg!
This week we learnt about light direction and the difference between hard, soft and diffused light.
We took photos of eggs to demonstrate the different effects different light direction causes, and the difference between a direct light source and a diffused one.

It is very clear to see the difference between the direct and diffused light! The diffuser spreads out the light and bounces it in different directions to create a more even light on the subject.
Working in a confined space, it was hard to keep the light and diffuser a good distance apart, so if I were to do this activity again, I would try it in a different location so I could get a better result with the diffuser as there shadows are not as soft as I would perhaps like.
Also I hope you can understand my compass terminology regarding the direction of the light!
